Take a look at one of my regulars, Vladimir. Less than a year ago he was only able to reach down with his finger tips until mid shin. After a year of exercising flexibility AND strength (does increase flexibility too), he´s able to touch down with his knuckles in full! Even if the image doesn´t show...What a great effort and outstanding result for a 75 year old!! However, this is a very specific exercise to measure clients progress either. Vladimir noticed more strength and flexibility in almost every activity of daily living. Eg doing up his garden and trimming hedges took him 2 full weekends.
